Rihanna seems to be the music artist that keeps on giving. This young songstress has yet to take a break since she has hit the music industry 7 years ago with her hit "Pon De Replay". This morning Rihanna released the cover of her 7th album entitled UNAPOLOGETIC.

Unapologetic will be Rihanna's 7th album in 7 years and is set to hit stores November 19, 2012. On the cover Rihanna is rocking her newly cut short black hair, with a dark (maroon/brown) lip. She is displayed topless with words such as Victory, #Navy, Diamonds, Faith, ROC, Chalice, Fearless, Happy, Censore, Love, Side Effects, #R7, and Unapologetic written upon her body. Her most recent tattoo is also on display, this tattoo is a picture of Goddess Isis. Goddess Isis stands for Complete Woman and is a model for future generations. Rihanna got this tattoo in honor of her grandma Dolly who passed away this summer.
Unapologetic looks to be another winner for Rihanna. She currently has released one single off this album, which is entitled DIAMONDS.
R&B singer Rihanna released a new song yesterday called Diamonds. I have already listened to the track and find it to be quite different than any of her previous music, we are in for a great surprise when her seventh album hits stores.
I find the song to be quite motivating, especially the line
( WE'RE BEAUTIFUL LIKE DIAMONDS IN THE SKY)
Rihanna never ever cease to stop amazing us with her wonderful talented, and over the years she has definitely moved up my list of favorite singers. She is definitely in my top 10.
That single word means so much to me. Through the art of FASHION I am able to express myself while also letting the world know how I feel. Although I love FASHION, sometimes keeping up with specific trends and specific designers such as ( Lela Rose, Mark Badgley, James Mischka, Anna Sui, Michael Kors, YvesSaintLauren, and Jeffrey Campbell) can be quite expensive. But the prices of clothes do not always hold us back. In order to counterattack extreme prices people have turned to thrifting.
Thrifting (thrifting refers to the act of shopping at a thrift store, flea market, garage sale, or a shop of a charitable organization, usually with the intent of finding interesting items at a cheap price
Thrifting gives you the ability to turn simple clothing items into HIGH FASHION/VINTAGE looks. You can also create simple outfits from items already in your wardrobe. Recently one of my friends has started thrifting and sharing her finds and creations online. Her outfits are so stellar, that I would definitely hire her as a personal stylist (YES SHE IS THAT GOOD). I decided to write a BLOG highlighting FASHION and her amazing skills.

She states that this is an ensemble that she would wear out with the girls" She used the 1 strap & made a unique design & added a broken silver necklace to create another strap! The silver clutch was 1.50$ from goodwill & that broken belt was 89cents! She made the slit up the side herself (LiveFashionForALowPrice!)
Skyy got her shorts out of the 99cent bin at goodwill because the top 2 buttons were completely ruined, she pinned them & tied her blouse on top of the pins! "Can't tell there broke huh" lol Her clutch came from the kids section for 50cent & her oversized shades where $2 from eBay "Korean fashion sunglasses" was the search on eBay
Skyy brought a grandmother skirt in the thrift store for $3.39 it had a built in slip. Shecut the slip in half & made a top. She put a bold split up the middle of the skirt & made it a high waist trendy skirt :Who needs money when u have style!!!
Skyy purchased a dress on sale at Wet Seal for $5. She then proceed to turn it into a high waist skirt!! Her belt,Blouse & Mini purse came from Goodwill :-) She thinks Thrifting is my calling and I definitely agree with her.

Astounding news ladies and gentlemen, the smell of TOP MODEL is in the air and fierceness is all around us. Tyra Banks is back with her hit show AMERICAS NEXT TOP MODEL. This upcoming season will be the 19th cycle of the show. Cycle 19 is unlike any other cycle and has a unique theme "COLLEGE EDITION".

The girls in cycle 19 all are students (yes you read that right THEY ARE STUDENTS). Tyra recently earned a business degree from Harvard University, and while being a student herself, she noticed around her college campus that their were some very fierce girls with modeling potential, and this was her inspiration for the COLLEGE EDITION cycle of ANTM. Cycle 19 premieres August 24, 2012 at 9/8c.

I personally like the old prizes. I would love to be in VOGUE magazine and have the opportunity to be a COVERGIRL. The new contracts with Nylon and NINE WEST cannot even compete with vogue and covergirl. There are also some more changes in this new cycle to include the dismissal of some of our favorite members of the ANTM CAST. Nigel Barker, J Alexander, and J Manuel will no longer be on the show.

Cycle 19 is full of surprises and one of them is the British Model ROB EVANS. Rob is replacing Nigel and I have no complaints. He reminds me of Nigel, they both are hot and have BRITISH accents. I cant wait to see Rob on the judging panel he will be a great addition to the show.

Kelly Cutrone will once again be a judge on this cycle. I personally don't like her. She is so negative and definitely not pleasant on the eye (and that's why Im not including a picture of her in this blog) For those of you who have no idea who she is, dont worry she isnt all that important just know that she is an American fashion publicist.
There also will be an additional judge. Many of you might not know this person, even though they have been around with the show since the beginning. Have you figured it out yet? Okay I will tell you. The newest judge to the ANTM panel will be THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. We finally have a say so in what girl stays and what girl goes. Throughout this summer while the ladies were competing for the top spot, each week Tyra Banks posted their photos online and let us decide who should go home and why. In the end the final decision was still up to the judges, but it's nice to know our opinions matter.
I can't wait to see what the American viewers had to say about the girls.

I am very excited for cycle 19 of ANTM, I have watched the show since season 1 and have never missed a season. What has truly sadden me though is that the show has been moved to Friday night. This happened because the show's ratings have dropped therefore the show can not be on one of the main weekdays such as Wednesday or Thursday. I think this Friday move will hurt the show, because less people are home on a Friday night. I will definitely have to adjust my Fridays and make them work around ANTM because I will definitely be supporting my girl Tyra. I hope you all watch and support the show as well

She stepped on the scene with her first song (PON DE REPLAY) and since then she has been churning out hit after hit. To include the songs TAKE A BOW, UMBRELLA, WHATS MY NAME, ONLY GIRL IN THE WORLD, S&M, CHEERS, AND WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN.
Rihanna is on top of the music industry right now and has collaborated with many of the industry's top music artists. Rihanna is like a best friend to many of us girls. From my personal opinion she definitely could be one of my very best friend. She is very relatable and keeps in 100% majority of the time and thats exactly how I am.
Rhianna recently did an interview with the one and only OPRAH. In this interview she wore hardly any makeup and was very up close and personal with her life. She was bearing it all for the world and the Rihanna Navy to see.
This interview was unlike any other that Rihanna has ever done because in this interview she let her emotions get the best of her and showed the world that she is human. She revealed the vulnerable side of her while still remaining strong.
The interview started off with Oprah asking Rihanna about her grandmother (GRAN GRAN DOLLY) who she spent her last days with this summer. It was obvious that GRAN GRAN DOLLY was the light of Rihanna's life. I saw this first hand since I follow Rihanna on twitter, and she constantly kept her fans informed on the health of her grandmother and the wonderful lsat days she was spending with such a wise woman. Rihanna said that her grandma taught her alot about forgiveness and loving your enemies. Rihanna said her GRAN GRAN DOLLY(was a legend ) her grandma passed away July 1st at the age of 72.
In the interview Oprah states that #Esquire magazine crowned Rihanna as being the SEXIEST WOMAN ALIVE and also said that Rihanna is the essence of the word that starts with the letter F but rhymes with puck. (I guess Oprah did want to curse on national TV)

1). (Oprah)How are you so comfortable sexually in your own skin?
(Rhianna) In the beginning I was not comfortable sexually in my own skin. I lived by the mentality (FAKE IT UNTIL YOU MAKE IT) It was all pretend. I was not comfortable in my own skin in the beginning (NO WAY). It's amazing how lonely you can feel and nobody understands, but the moment you reach out and you are vulnerable, somebody reaches out and that is why I put so much into my relationship with the RIHANNA NAVY. I want my fans to be comfortable with me having flaws. I am afraid of the pedastal that comes with being a celebrity. I just want to be on the same level as my fans. We all want love (We are all looking for the same thing).
2). (Oprah) Are you comfortable with being called a role model?
(Rihanna) No I am not comfortable with being referred to as a role model. I am uncomfortable mainly because of what the world has defined a rolemodel to be. In todays society to be a rolemodel means that you are a symbol of perfection and achieving perfection is almost impossible for anyone.
3) (Oprah) Who are you?
(Rihanna) You never think about this until someone actually asks you this question. I love to have fun and be spontaneous and am intrigued by things that are a little more on the adventurous side. I also just want people to feel good.
4) (Oprah)What is the hardest thing that you have to deal with?
(Rihanna) The hardest thing is being lonely.
5) (Oprah) When have you felt the loniest?
(Rihanna) There have been moments when I dont want to be seen as the victim and for people to not think that I am weak. Because of this I hold certain information in and choose not to tell anyone. There are some things that I don't even share with my friends.
6) (Oprah) On Feb 8, 2009 Chris Brown was arrested for assault, his punishment was 180 hours of community service and 5 years of probation. ( I PERSONALLY FEEL LIKE CHRIS BROWN WAS GIVEN A FREEBEE). How did this incident leave you feeling
(Rihanna) I was hurt over the Chris Brown altercation. No one felt the way that I felt. (with tears in her eyes) she explains how the entire experience was embarrassing, humiliating, and hurtful. I lost my best friend and first love. It was not easy to understand and go through that with cameras everywhere and the world watching. The entire event turned into a circus. He made that mistake of hitting me because he needed help. I was worried about how and what people would think of him and whether he would get help. I was more concerned about him-----(THIS SHOCKS OPRAH AND SHOCKED THE HECK OUT OF ME) ...After Rihanna ends up being the one abused in the end she was thinking about protecting Chris Brown.

7) (Oprah) Where does your relationship stand with Chris Brown?
(Rihanna) We have been working on our friendship and are now close friends again. When I see him sometimes I feel awkward and my stomach drops and that's because I still love him. But although all of this is happening I still keep my POKER FACE on and try not show my true feelings. Chris Brown was the love of my life. I truly love him but the main thing is that he's at peace with life.
8) (Oprah) Have you forgiven Chris Brown for hitting you
(Rihanna) I have forgiven him, it took me some time, because I was like this is not my fault and I was angry and it was showing in my clothes and attitude. During this time I repaired my relationship with my dad who was also violent within our household. I was able to make peace with my father because i realized what my father and Christ Brown did were very similar.
This interview was raw, real, and uncut. I loved seeing Rihanna in this light. She gave us an upclose and personal view of herself.

This passed week has been a very exciting one for the world of makeup. Proctor and Gamble's (COVERGIRL)
The brand has named a new woman of COLOR as a new face of COVERGIRL. The company announced its newest spokeswoman for the line of makeup and that wonderful young lady is Janelle Monae.
If you dont know who Janelle Monae is, then its obvious that you must have been sleeping under a rock for the past few months. Ms Monae is a singer.
This young lady is not only beautiful but also very talented. Janelle now joins a group of other Black women who are members of the COVERGIRL community. Tyra Banks, Brandy, Queen Latifah, and Rihanna are all members of the COVERGIRL family.
Janelle Monae brings a uniqueness to the COVERGIRL family. She's unlike any woman who has represented COVERGIRL in the past. So people will get her and others will not, but that is besides the point because she has a personalilty and face that can sell makeup.
I look forward to opening up magazines and seeing her grace the pages. As we can all tell she will be a great edition to the COVERGIRL family
