Beyoncé covers The September issue of VOGUE 2015

The month of September brings about many things. It has been seen on many occasions as the start of new beginnings. This is around the time school goes back into session, the seasons change and people tend to see it as an opportunity for a fresh start. Within the fashion magazine industry September is consider to be a big month for sales and the issue is seen to particular be thicker. For Vogue the September issue is their most important issue and Beyonce Giselle Knowles Carter graces this year's cover which makes her Vogue's IT girl/woman of the year

The September issue is entitled Forces of Fashion and places great emphasis on high fashion couture clothing that catches the eye of any fashion guru. The photographer who had the honor of capturing Beyonce in her element of regal and grace was Mario Testino He did such a fabulous job at capturing Queen Bey. He also was the photographer in one Beyonce's previous vogue shoots.

Here's a preview of the cover story by Margo Jefferson:
What do we want from the glamorous, powerful women we call divas or icons or cultural forces? We want them to want—and in our names get—everything they possibly can. Success in work and love. Sexual pleasure. Money and power. We want them to embody multiple fantasies. We want them to make us believe that exciting realities are just around the corner.
It used to be that the great pop stars with fashion and style gave us small variations on one grand theme. Tina Turner: minidresses and honey tresses. Janis Joplin: boas, bangles, and bell-bottoms. Cher: spangled striptease getups with mythic Third World touches. Nowadays fashion isn’t about the grand theme, it’s about juxtaposition, and it’s filled with allusions to movie and art history; to music and dance styles; to iconographies of race and ethnicity, religion and gender. Madonna opened the door to this collage approach. Today we see it in the wigs, masks, and sculpted costumes of Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj, the restless dazzle of Rihanna’s couture choices. And, of course, in the music, dance, decor, and looks of the ultimate streamed collage: BeyoncĂ©.

Congratulations to Beyonce on scoring the September cover of Vogue and what makes this slayage  even more fabulous is the fact that September is Beyonce's birthday month

We Gotta Pray

WE GOTTA PRAY

Pregnancy is not keeping Alicia Keys from using her sultry voice to get her message across during a time of duress in our country. She has been very vocal online throughout the past days expressing her opinions on the injustice that occurred in Mike Brown's case.

On 3 Dec 2014 Alicia Keys released a new song entitled " We Gotta Pray" in light of the protests that are taking place nation wide. America has a serious issue and until everyone can admit that the issue is race then maybe we can move on to bigger and greater things until then all we can do is let our voices be heard and PRAY.

A. Keys girl I am loving the song, keep inspiring, empowering and motivating us. We love you.

.

Alicia Keys "We Gotta Pray" lyrics

Come on, uh-huh
You know

We gotta pray
We gotta pray
We gotta pray

Pray for the world tonight
We gotta save, somebody save somebody tonight
Fire in the air, what the hell going on?
Sirens everywhere, singing that street song
Violence everywhere, barely holding on
What the hell going on?
Do you know who you are?
Do you know who we are?

[Chorus]
We, we're extraordinary people
Living an ordinary life
Growing stronger to every question
We're gonna make it or dying, 'till we gotta pray

Pray for the love tonight
Another day, pray for another try
Smoke is in the sky, what the hell going on?
Bullets gonna fly, fly right from the gun
Trying not to cry, barely holding on
What the hell going on?
Do you know who you are?
Do you know who we are?

[Chorus]
We, we're extraordinary people
Living an ordinary life
Growing stronger to every question
We're gonna make it or dying, 'till we gotta pray

We gotta pray
We gotta pray
We gotta pray,
We gotta pray

You know)
We gotta pray
We gotta pray
We gotta pray, pray for the world tonight
We gotta save, somebody save somebody tonight
Fire in the air, what the hell goin’ on?
Sirens everywhere, singin’ that street song
Violence everywhere, barely holdin’ on
What the hell goin’ on?
Do you know who you are?
Do you know who we are?

We, we’re extraordinary people
Living an ordinary life
Growing stronger to every question
We’re gonna make it or dying, ’till we gotta pray

Pray for the love tonight
Another day, pray for another try
Smoke is in the sky, what the hell goin’ on?
Bullets gonna fly, fly right from the gun
Trying not to cry, barely holdin’ on
What the hell goin’ on?
Do you know who you are?
Do you know who we are?

We, we’re extraordinary people
Living an ordinary life
Growing stronger to every question
We’re gonna make it or dying, ’till we gotta pray

We gotta pray
We gotta pray
We gotta pray,
We gotta pray!
