Whitney Houston's Family signs deal with LIFETIME for new reality tv show

Yesterday May 11, 2012 marked 3 months since the passing of THE VOICE Ms. Whitney Houston.

On that day it was reported by the Huffington post that her family signed a deal with LIFETIME networks for a new reality TV show called THE HOUSTON FAMILY CHRONICLES

The network announced Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbie Kristina, and mom Cissy will be featured in the new reality series. Along with Whitney's daughter and mother, "The Bodyguard" star's sister-in-law and manager Pat Houston, Pat's daughter Rayah and Whitney's brother Gary will be featured on the tentatively titled, "The Houston Family Chronicles." According to Lifetime, the series will feature the Houston family "as they take on their greatest challenge, supporting and guiding Bobbi Kristina as she faces the world alone, without the one person she relied on the most, her Mother."

The news of this reality TV show caught me completely off guard,  being that majority of the time the family has been pretty private. But I think something like this is needed in order to keep Bobby Kristina on a straight and narrow path and not on a path that involves drugs. I am excited to watch the show. Being that the Houston family is known to be a musical family filled me lots of talent, I am looking forward to getting to see more of them. I am a huge Whitney Houston fan and anything dealing with her I will support. I would like to wish her family all the best and send all my love as they continue to grow and learn how to deal with life without WHITNEY. We love you Whitney.
