SELMA ( the official trailer)

I am a product of the south, specifically the state of ALABAMA. Growing up I was taught everything there is to know about the struggle of my people. Especially the struggle that was endured within my home state. I admire and inspire to be as strong as those who fought for me to have equal rights. That generation is one mighty group of GOD FEARING folks. My generation can learn a thing or two from them. *Yall better go talk to your grandparents, great grandparents and great aunts and uncles* They will have some stories to tell you.

In 2 months a mighty, powerful, gut wrenching movie will be released and if you call yourself a person of color it is in your best interest to support and view the movie.

The movie is entitled Selma and was produced by the one and only Oprah Winfrey

The cast of this movie is made up emaculate actors and actresses to include:

David Oyelowo ( plays Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.), Oprah Winfrey, Carmen Ejogo, Tom Wilkinson, Cuba Gooding Jr., Alessandro Nivola, Giovanni Ribisi, Common,  Tessa Thompson, Andre Holland, Keith Stanfield, Wendell Pierce, Niecy Nash, Lorraine Toussaint, and  Tim Roth

Check out the trailer below

The film is set to be released nation wide January 9, 2015 with special viewings in LA and NYC on December 25, 2014.
